Sapphire IPL can replace ordinary glass
Sapphire has the characteristic of high temperature resistance. Sapphire has a melting point of up to 2045 ℃ and can maintain stable operation even at temperatures above 1000 ℃, while ordinary glass will produce water vapor at several hundred ℃, affecting the optical transmission of the instrument.
Sapphire has the characteristics of wear resistance and scratch resistance. The hardness of sapphire material is as high as Mohs 9, second only to diamond. It will not cause scratches, cracks or other phenomena in daily use, while the hardness level of ordinary glass is 7, which is prone to scratches.
Sapphire material has good chemical stability and corrosion resistance. Sweat, skincare products, cosmetics, and other substances generated in daily life may cause certain corrosion to laser instruments, while sapphire materials will not be corroded.
